St. Paul feels like home to me. Sts Simon and Jude was my old home. I needed to find a parish and school community that felt like my old home. St. Paul is it! Carol Pratt

St Paul has been such an amazing experience for my family! Right from the start of enrollment we felt like we were joining a very loving family which made the transition from JCPS that much easier. St. Paul has a great staff and really care about kids success in school and in life. Everything at this school seems to be very well coordinated down to the ease of the carpool line which reaffirms to me we've made the best possible decision for our daughter’s future and we are very excited for many more years at St Paul. GO RAIDERS!!

Joey, Leslie, Joseph, and Kendall Nevitt

We chose to send our son, Joseph, to St Paul in 2011 for Pre K.  At the time we were not members of the church.  We had actually applied to another Pre K program and Joseph did not get in.  When I came to St Paul to inquire about their Pre K program, they were fantastic.  Not being accepted into the other program had kind of left us feeling a bit down, but when we came to St Paul it was a whole different story.  I immediately felt welcomed.  I was walked down to the classroom and introduced to the teachers that same day.  I knew from that moment St Paul was the right choice for us.  Since then, we have joined the church and sent our second child, Kendall , there as well.  Along the way, Joseph had a few learning issues, and the teachers at St Paul were so helpful with working with Joseph and telling me the right resources to go to for help.  Joseph is in first grade now and has stayed on the Honor Roll.

During the Spring of 2013, we finished building our home and moved out of the South End to the Fern Creek/Mt Washington area.  I never thought about switching schools.  We decided to keep our children there despite the extra drive.  Both our children love their school and they have made good friends and have done well.  The teachers are very easy to communicate with.  I have never had a question go unanswered.   St Paul is a very close knit school, everyone is so wonderful.  My husband grew up in the catholic school system and already knew a lot of people at St Paul.  I, on the other hand, did not and was a little nervous about not knowing many parents.  But I have never once felt like an “outsider”, the staff and families of the other students are wonderful.

Hopefully hearing out story will make up your mind about choosing a school that is right for your child.  And hopefully that school will be St Paul.  Our experience has been great, there is no other place I would rather have my children.

When I first came to Saint Paul as a newly hired teacher four years ago, I was instantly struck by the peaceful atmosphere of the classrooms.  Also, the children seemed so happy and secure.  I knew that it was the right place for my own two children to attend as well.

My observations and instincts were correct.  Saint Paul is truly God centered with a committed and knowledgeable staff.  This makes for a loving atmosphere that propels students to want to do their personal best.  I see great things happening everyday as students grow emotionally, spiritually, and academically.  Through God, miracles are just an everyday occurrence at this school.

I love the opportunity to let everyone know how important the school is to my family. My children are 4th generation students there. I had the most wonderful teachers and education when I was a student and my children will receive the same. I would not want to send them anywhere else.

My daughter Payton is my only child so the whole school system was new to me. I was nervous for my daughter and myself for not knowing anyone that was involved with St. Paul or how the pre k program worked. I had toured other schools before St. Paul, but I walked away still nervous and undecided. That is until I met with Mr. Brever and took a tour of the school. Everyone is so welcoming and informative. Picking St. Paul is the best decision we could have made for our daughter. She has learned so much and made new friends along the way. The pre k program is excellent. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. The PTO is awesome! We are already looking forward to next year. 212

We hated the idea of changing our daughter's school but after our 1st visit to St. Paul, we knew it was the right thing to do! From the staff to the students, and even at church, we always feel welcome. There truly is that sense of belonging and family here. Coming to St. Paul was the best choice our family has ever made!

As a military family we have been in many school districts. Moving here we knew any school could teach the core classes but we wanted more for our daughter. We knew we wanted more for her. What make’s Saint Paul special are the other things. The teachers and staff care about these kids and make it a family environment. There are always extra activities like Advanced Choir, Drama Club, the 8th grade vs. Teachers Volleyball game, and the retreats. I am glad that Elizabeth has been here for her 8th grade year.

We are not Catholic. Both of my children were enrolled in a Christian school but due to financial reasons, I had to find another alternative. I was very worried about coming to St. Paul because we were not Catholic. However, my children were welcomed with open arms from the very first day and have never been made to feel different and they have never felt like an outsider. The teachers are so involved and so caring. They have a personal connection with each and every student in this school. If you are not Catholic and are looking for an alternative to JCPS, do not hesitate to send your children to St. Paul. Due to financial reasons, my daughter is now in a JCPS High School. She is excelling academically and has been accepted into the Honors Program which is a testament to the exceptional education that she received at St. Paul.

It's hard to believe that Nathan will graduate from St. Paul's next year. The journey through the years has been awesome and I know St. Paul's was the right school for him! The staff and faculty are topnotch......always going the extra mile!!
